Conquering Resistance

It took me an entire hour to choose a layout for this blog. I think I was definitely procrastinating from actually writing my first post here. As I’ve said previously, writing and sharing my writing is something I’ve always wanted to do but simply did not have the courage to do so.

I recently read “The War of Art” by Steven Pressfield, which really pushed me to overcome this fear. He says that often times the things that scare us the most are the things are that are most important to us and our souls. So here goes nothing.

I actually tried to start a blog 3 years ago. I know because when I tried to open account here, it said I already had one. I then remembered that I tried out a few websites, but ultimately ended up going with tumblr, which is so not the right platform for my writing purposes.

Anyways, according to WordPress I had created this blog 3 years ago! And this is my first post 🙂

If you’re interested in how it went 3 years ago, then here is the link. I didn’t even share the link, so no one even had the chance to see it. Hopefully things will go differently this time and the next post you see from me will be much sooner than in 3 years.
